When you’re out on the road for weeks or even months at a time, it can start to feel less like home. Nothing beats walking into a travel center and seeing a friendly face, a warm home-cooked meal, and clean showers.
Whether you’re a new CDL driver or a seasoned professional driver, chances are you’ve stopped at a truck stop that stood out from the rest. Across the U.S., there are plenty of unique travel centers that truckers love. The RoadPro Pro Driver Council has rounded up a few you don’t want to miss.
Boise Stage Stop - Boise, ID
The Boise Stage Stop is one of the oldest ongoing businesses in Idaho, making it a must-stop. Great service, amazing food, unique gift shop items, and sparkling clean facilities make it a favorite.
Garden of Eden – Eden, ID
Located on I-84 between Burley and Twin Falls, this stop offers unique merchandising, individual picnic cubicles, a pet area, and plenty of food options and parking.
Russell’s Truck & Travel Center –Glenrio, NM
More than just fuel, stretch your legs and check out the on-site classic car museum! Add in a full-service restaurant, grab-and-go food, and tons of great merchandise. This stop is a great break from the road.
